At the Crockenhill village hall management committee AGM, Tony Horsley, whilst continuing with his other roles on the committee, stepped down as Vice Chair, a position he has held since 2017!
Ruth Fluin-Hardy said she had been quite sad and troubled when Tony initially informed her that he would not be seeking re-election because he had been a great sounding board and tower of support over the last 5 years. However, she understood his reasoning, particularly given he’d taken on another voluntary position in the village namely that of a parish councillor.
Tony has been replaced by Iris Waterton so the committee is still very much in capable hands.
